Years ago I bought sunglasses and promptly broke the single-pieced glass, right around the singular screw holding it in place (Not the most durable design/purchase decision ever). A few years ago I edited the Oscar nominees for the ‘Best Picture’ category into swear reels, removing everything but the profanity/swears/insults, and ended up with a few fast bursts of jump cut cursing. The resulting reels were somewhat entertaining and maybe gave a different perspective on the nominees; allowing a movie to be judged solely on how it carries itself in the strange land of the profane; or something deep like that. Yeah. Mostly somewhat entertaining.
Well, time for another go around! With almost twice the movies, for your consideration:

I went through the reels again and removed everything but the swears/bad words that are either in the No Swearing dictionary, or the Dirty words list from Google. If you think the above is too inclusive then this bare bones version should do the trick.
When new content stopped appearing, traffic and interest quickly dwindled ’till a faint rustle, random individual pops and hisses. Google, Stumble Upon, Google, Google, blog, Reddit. A dozen hits a day. Every once in a while a small repost peak hit, but soon enough the signal cut back to static.

Hey! It’s been a while. So… A lot of things happened… now I’m back.
I updated the website and server, added several new services, caching, sharing, and social options + a thousand little tweaks should make the site run pretty smoothly, until it doesn’t. I’ve also created and edited a bunch of new content, lined em up and (mostly) ready to go, starting with some stuff that has been hiding in my #projects folder for a while now.
First a few small things to test the blog (coming up next some new Swear Cuts for the Oscars 2012) then, if everything seems to hold together, I’ll post the rest of my Wii-Mote Mods. Finally posting that fully skinned and modded version of the mote started in my tutorial post, followed by a couple experimental mods and some weirdness.
I’ll also let some of my old ideas go in the “Where Ideas Go To Die” section. Ideas that are impossible, expensive, a bit weird and mostly just never going to happen. Add to that some other one-off material and I think I’ve got a stew going. Soon.
